As artificial intelligence fuels the rapid expansion of hyperscale data centers and digital infrastructure, the need for reliable, energy-efficient power systems is becoming increasingly critical. Capitalizing on this evolving opportunity, Pace Digitek Ltd., through its material subsidiary Lineage Power Private Limited (LPPL), has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with MEGMEET Electrical India Private Limited to support AI data center power infrastructure in India, while continuing to strengthen its integrated power infrastructure solutions.
The strategic cooperation builds on more than five years of collaboration in telecom power solutions, marking the next phase of the relationship as both companies expand their focus into the AI data center ecosystem. Under the agreement, MEGMEET will serve as a strategic supplier of AI data center power systems and related products to LPPL, while also providing technical support, product upgrades, training and lifecycle after-sales services. Product supplies will be undertaken through mutually agreed purchase orders.
The partnership further strengthens LPPL's established Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing and system integration capabilities by adding AI data center power systems to its portfolio. By combining power management, energy storage and system integration expertise, Pace Digitek is broadening its integrated energy infrastructure offering to address the evolving power requirements of AI data center applications.
This move comes at a critical juncture for India's digital infrastructure. The country's data centre capacity is projected to grow nearly sixfold this decade, from around 1.4 GW today to an estimated 9 GW by 2030, driven largely by AI workloads. Deloitte India estimates this expansion will require 40–45 additional terawatt-hours of power by 2030 — nearly three times 2024 levels — while Grid India has cautioned that AI-driven data centres demand transmission-grade, high-reliability power infrastructure that cannot be fully absorbed by existing grid capacity alone. Against this backdrop, Pace Digitek's cooperation with MEGMEET positions LPPL to help address one of the most pressing infrastructure bottlenecks facing India's AI ecosystem today.
With the growth of AI computing, hyperscale data centers and digital infrastructure driving demand for resilient and energy-efficient power infrastructure, Pace Digitek intends to leverage its manufacturing platform, engineering capabilities and project execution strengths, together with MEGMEET's advanced AI data center power systems, to support the evolving needs of customers in this rapidly expanding market.
The strategic cooperation also reflects the company's broader strategy of strengthening its technology and product portfolio through a combination of in-house capabilities and strategic partnerships, while building on its existing manufacturing platform, engineering expertise, execution capabilities and customer relationships.
