BottomStreet's custom stock screener lets you build your own screens for NSE and BSE stocks — combining technical indicators and fundamental ratios in one place. Instead of picking a fixed scanner, you choose the fields, operators, and values that match your setup. Mix RSI, SuperTrend, or moving averages with PE, ROCE, debt-to-equity, and market cap. Pick a universe (all cash, Nifty 50, Bank Nifty, midcaps, and more), run the screen, and review live last-traded prices on the results. No login required to try. Prefer ready setups? Use the free intraday screener or swing trading screener.
Filters are grouped so you can build a technical screen, a fundamental screen, or a hybrid screen for NSE and BSE in a few clicks.
Price & volume
Close, Open, High, Low, Volume, Change %, and VWAP. Use these to keep results tradeable — for example Close greater than ₹100 and Volume greater than 1,00,000 shares — before you layer indicators or ratios.
Technical
RSI (14), MACD line and signal, ADX (14), Stochastic %K, SuperTrend (7,3), SMA 20/50/200, and EMA 20/50. Build oversolds, momentum confirms, or trend filters across latest, daily, weekly, or intraday timeframes where supported.
Fundamental
PE (yearly), Price to Book, ROCE %, ROE %, Debt / Equity, Market Cap (₹ Cr), and EPS (yearly). Combine with technicals — for example RSI below 30 and PE below 25 — to find NSE and BSE names that are weak on price but not obviously expensive.
Start from these patterns on the builder above — adjust values to match your risk and universe.
Oversold with liquidity
RSI (14) less than 30, Close greater than ₹100, Volume greater than 1,00,000. The default starter screen — surfaces weak but tradeable NSE/BSE names.
Quality pullback
RSI less than 40, ROCE greater than 15%, Debt / Equity less than 1, Market Cap greater than ₹1,000 Cr. Technical weakness with stronger balance-sheet quality.
Trend with volume
Close greater than SMA 50, Volume greater than 2,00,000, Change % greater than 1. Simple momentum filter for liquid movers.
Value + momentum check
PE less than 25, Price to Book less than 5, RSI between oversold exit and mid-range (for example greater than 30 and less than 55). Blend valuation with a calmer RSI zone.
Choose a universe (All cash covers NSE and BSE listed cash stocks; or narrow to Nifty 50, Bank Nifty, midcap and smallcap indices). Tap fields under Add fields to build your screen — each active filter shows operator, value, and unit hints like ₹, %, Cr, or shares. Combine up to the filter limit with AND logic. Hit Run screen to scan. Sort results by LTP, change %, or volume. Live prices update when the market feed is active. Refine filters and run again until the list matches your watchlist criteria.
Is the custom stock screener free?
You can open the builder, add filters, and run screens for NSE and BSE without creating an account. Use it to test ideas and build a shortlist; pair it with BottomStreet’s free preset intraday and swing scanners when you want ready-made setups.
Does it cover both NSE and BSE?
Yes. The All cash universe screens cash stocks across NSE and BSE. You can also restrict to index universes such as Nifty 50, Bank Nifty, Nifty 500, and midcap or smallcap baskets.
Can I combine technical and fundamental filters?
Yes. That is the point of the custom screener — for example RSI less than 30 with PE less than 25 and ROCE greater than 15%. Preset scanners are fixed; here you define the mix.
How is this different from the intraday screener?
The intraday and swing hubs offer curated scanners for common setups. The custom screener is a builder: you pick fields, operators, and values yourself. Many traders use presets for speed and the custom tool when they need a one-off hybrid screen.
What filters are available?
Price and volume (OHLCV, change %, VWAP), technicals (RSI, MACD, ADX, Stochastic, SuperTrend, SMA, EMA), and fundamentals (PE, PB, ROCE, ROE, debt/equity, market cap, EPS). Timeframes include latest, daily, weekly, monthly, and selected intraday intervals where the field supports them.
How do I create my own stock screener for NSE stocks?
Select a universe, add fields from the picker, set each condition (for example Volume greater than 1,00,000 shares), then run. Start from the Oversold starter or one of the example screens above, then tighten with market cap or ROCE until the list is small enough to chart.
